Stiebel Eltron, a proud supporter of Sustainable House Day

More than two hundred sustainable houses are anticipated to open their doors throughout Australia this Sunday, September 15, with thousands of people expected to attend. Innovative, green homes will be open to the public, giving a rare glimpse of homes built or renovated with sustainability in mind, enabling people to talk and learn from homeowners. Off-grid living, solar with battery storage, hot water heat pumps, airtight homes with heat recovery ventilation and energy-efficient design are just a few of the features you'll probably see during the day. Sustainable House Day, brought to you by Renew, is proudly supported by Stiebel Eltron.

As part of Sustainable House Day, SUHO will be opening up South Australia's first 10 Star Home which is currently under construction. This display home was designed to demonstrate the possibilities of sustainable residential design and construction in South Australia. Going well beyond achieving its 10-star rating, the home also will be highly performant in air tightness and moisture prevention in passive principles. Stiebel Eltron is supplying a hot water heat pump and heat recovery ventilation unit to the project, and staff will be available on the day to field questions about the products.
