Product Details
The VRC-C 450 Trend is equipped with a cross-counter current heat exchanger, allowing a large proportion of heat from extracted air to be recovered before it exits the building. Separate supply and extract air fans ensure controlled airflow to living spaces while removing air from kitchens, bathrooms, and other high-moisture areas. Multiple operating modes are available, including reduced, standard, intensive, and humidity-protection ventilation, enabling the system to adapt to changing indoor conditions. Integrated constant airflow control maintains stable ventilation performance regardless of duct pressure. For colder climates, the unit includes intelligent frost protection, with the option to add an electric preheating coil to safeguard the heat exchanger during low outdoor temperatures. In warmer months, bypass functionality allows cooler night air to be drawn in for passive cooling. User control is simple and intuitive via the supplied programming unit, with real-time status displays, scheduling, and filter change notifications. Optional WLAN connectivity enables remote monitoring and control through the MyStiebel app. The VRC-C 450 Trend is designed for installation below the ceiling or wall-mounted (model dependent) and includes easily accessible filters and components for straightforward maintenance.
