The hot water invention that started a heated debate

In 1924, Dr Theodor Stiebel, armed with 100 of his immersion heaters, decided to exhibit at the Spring Trade Fair in Leipzig. His invention was the subject of heated discussion and a resounding success. On 1st April 1924, buidling on this success, he set up the ELTRON Dr. Theodor Stiebel company.  The company was officially registered with the Companies' Register in Berlin on the 5th May 1924.  Production commenced soon afterwards in a workshop in Berlin.
