Stiebel Eltron Wins Energy Saving Product Award For 2009
Stiebel Eltron has been rewarded for excellence from the Master Plumbers and Gasfitters Association of Western Australia at their ceremony on the 14th of November 2009. The company’s hot water heat pump, the WWK300A, won the "2009 Energy Saving Product of the Year" award in the annual competition.
This award,sponsored by The West Australian newspaper, is one of the most prestigious awards in Western Australia that recognises companies with products that can benefit the states plumbing industry. Finalists in this category were asked to demonstrate how their products are environmentally conscious, can provide outstanding savings to customers and how consumers will benefit from the products excellence in design and innovation. The award also assesses products on their installation and ongoing maintenance requirements
The WWK300A heat pump has celebrated rapid growth in sales in Australia, being so successful that Germany has recently opened a 10 million dollar manufacturing facility just to assist in further production. The heat pump has not only started to be recognised for its brilliant year round hot water running cost savings, but it proves to be easy and cost effective to install. Its high quality German engineering and design makes the WWK300A a market leader in Australia which is evident in it achieving high rebates for energy efficiency.
