Sustainable Hot Water Helps Power Community-Focused Living at Nightingale Umarkoo Wayi
Victoria | Commercial Building
Located at 170 Sydney Road, Coburg, Nightingale Umarkoo Wayi is a pioneering residential development that reflects Nightingale Housing's commitment to sustainable, community-focused living. The eight-storey development comprises 48 apartments and incorporates a range of environmentally conscious features, including a fossil fuel-free design, rooftop solar, rainwater harvesting, and a minimum 7.6-star NatHERS rating for every home.
To support the project's energy-efficient objectives, a Stiebel Eltron CMT Skid system featuring a CM-T 33 module was installed as the centralised hot water solution. Commissioned in 2025, the system delivers reliable and efficient hot water to residents while complementing the building's broader sustainability goals.
The project demonstrates how Stiebel Eltron's commercial hot water technology can support innovative multi-residential developments seeking to reduce environmental impact without compromising occupant comfort or performance.
